My journey began with a deep struggle against addiction and the weight of the criminal justice system. Years of housing instability and mental health challenges created a cycle that felt impossible to escape. I was a man trying to find my way back to a stable life, but the barriers were too high. It was a period of profound isolation, where my past felt like a heavy anchor dragging me down.
But I found a light in the form of community support. This experience taught me that people are more than their past, and that with the right resources, we can rebuild our lives. Today, I founded Rebuild & Restart CIC to provide that same hope to others. We believe in the power of a second chance, offering a supportive environment where recovery is not just possible, but a shared path toward a dignified and independent future.
